Akiera’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and transformation. From starting her career in marketing to becoming an expert in process optimization and Agile methodologies, she has built a thriving business that empowers organizations to work more efficiently and collaboratively.
AKurated Solutions, LLC is built on the idea that businesses thrive when their processes work for them—not against them. Akiera specializes in process optimization and work management consulting, helping small and medium-sized businesses streamline their operations for greater efficiency.
Through her OPTIMIZE Framework—Illuminate, Implement, and Integrate—she works with organizations to identify workflow challenges, implement cutting-edge productivity tools, and create systems that support long-term success. Whether businesses are struggling with unclear workflows, ineffective reporting, underutilized tools, or low team productivity, Akiera provides customized solutions to turn these pain points into opportunities.
“I’m passionate about helping others work better together,” Akiera shares. “So many businesses have the right people and tools, but without the right processes in place, they struggle to maximize their potential.”
Akiera’s path to business ownership began with a deep curiosity about how people work and how they can work better. Originally setting out for a career in marketing, she began as a web data and digital marketing analyst at Sealed Air Corporation, where she was introduced to Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
That moment changed everything.
She became fascinated with workflows, collaboration, and team efficiency, which led her to pivot into project management. Over the years, she managed projects across multiple industries, from marketing campaigns and software implementation to general business consulting and digital product operations.
Each environment she worked in had the same underlying challenges—cross-functional collaboration was difficult, processes were often unclear, and leadership struggled with data-driven decision-making.
“I realized that so many organizations had the right talent, but their systems were holding them back,” Akiera explains. “That’s when I knew I wanted to build a business that helps people work better together.”
Her expertise in Agile project management, workflow design, and business process improvement became the foundation of AKurated Solutions.
Like many entrepreneurs, Akiera’s journey wasn’t linear. In college, she launched ConsultIntelligence, LLC, aiming to build a marketing consulting firm. However, she struggled with defining her niche, identifying her target audience, and setting clear goals. Without a strong foundation, the business didn’t take off.
For years, she wrestled with imposter syndrome, unsure whether she could build something truly impactful. But with time, experience, and a growing passion for helping businesses optimize their work, she found clarity.
“Today, I’ve overcome that imposter syndrome,” she says. “AKurated Solutions is built on a strong foundation—one that is rooted in my expertise, my experiences, and my drive to create real change.”
One of her proudest achievements? Earning her MBA and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, credentials that have helped her refine her approach to business optimization and process improvement.
“These certifications have been incredibly valuable,” she says. “They’ve given me the frameworks and best practices I use every day to help businesses scale smarter.”
For Akiera, having the right workspace has been a game-changer.
“I have ADHD, and having a separate environment to work in helps me stay focused,” she explains. “I live downtown, so I wanted a space that was walkable, comfortable, and not stuffy.”
After trying a day pass at Workhub, she immediately felt at home.
“The first time I visited, I met Rich, and he was so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting, and I knew this was the place for me.” She signed up that very night.
Beyond the physical workspace, Akiera has found something even more valuable at Workhub—a strong community of like-minded professionals.
“There are so many brilliant entrepreneurs here. I love getting to network, learn from others, and build friendships. Surrounding yourself with people who have similar goals and mindsets is so important, and I’ve found that here.”
One of the biggest benefits? The partnerships that have emerged from being part of the Workhub community.
“I’ve formed a partnership with fellow Workhub member Todd Mosier of Unanchor Marketing. As solo consultants, we share feedback, support each other, and even landed our first contract together. I’m so grateful for his partnership and for Workhub bringing us together.”
For Akiera, Workhub is more than just a place to work—it’s a space that enhances her productivity, connects her with a powerful network, and makes her workday more enjoyable.
Her favorite perks?

Her advice to other entrepreneurs?
“Get clear on your foundation. Know what you offer, who you serve, and why you do it. Once you have clarity, confidence will follow.”
